Join us at Rising Herb Farm on Saturday August 30th from 10am-12pm for a hands-on herbal experience where you’ll learn to craft your own tinctures using medicinal plants alongside other women!
This two-hour class includes an informational plant walk with Staci through the main medicinal herb garden and several rewilded areas at Rising Herb Farm, followed by a hands-on walk-through of making a tincture using a fresh herb of your choice. Students will learn about the traditional medicinal uses of several in-season herbs and native plants, harvest their herbal ally of choice using taught best practices, and create a simple tincture with their ally. You will leave this class with your completed tincture, a few new plant (and human!) friends, and an empowerment gained by making your own medicine!
Date/Time: Saturday August 30th, 2025 from 10am-12pm
Location: Rising Herb Farm (5957 N Candlestick Corner Rd, Centerpoint IN 47840)
Cost: $20 per person, which includes the class itself and tincturing supplies (herbs, alcohol or apple cider vinegar per student’s preference, mason jars, funnels, labels)
Class Size Limit: 15, Women and Girls Only
Registration Deadline: July 31st
Notes: This class is rain or shine! All class materials will be provided, and herbal tea and water will be provided. Rising Herb Farm’s farm stand with dried and fresh herbs, plants, tinctures, and other magical offerings will also be open to shop before or after class. There is ample parking in our drive and a port-a-potty on site if needed. The cost of class is used to purchase supplies for tincture making in advance, so we cannot provide a refund for any reason.
