Heirloom Plant Nursery

We offer over 200 varieties of culinary and medicinal herbs, Indiana and Midwest natives, and heirloom veggie starts in our on-farm, Indiana Department of Natural Resources-inspected plant nursery, April through July.
Every single plant we offer is started from seed or cuttings by me. We do not order our stock from other nurseries! Plant sizes and prices vary, with most plants multi-sown (many plants in one pot) in 3.75” pots and ranging in price from $3 to $5. Every Friday all season, we post a complete plant list on our Facebook page, so you know what plants you’ll be able to find on our tables on Saturday!
I like to say our plant nursery is quaint, meaning it is very small, beautiful, curious, and quiet. There are no lines, no busy crowds, and you can be with the plants in peace. Our plant nursery has a little library of books on medicinal and wild plants, in case you need some inspiration or get curious about a plant during your visit!
Since we are not a traditional plant nursery or garden center, we do not sell pots, soil, compost, etc. You will occasionally find seeds and handcrafted items from our farm for sale on Saturdays. Our self-serve farm stand is also open many Saturdays, too, stocked with fresh herbs, wildflower bouquets, baked goods, and handmade fiber crafts.
Please bring cash— avoiding credit card processing fees helps me keep my prices low! We do accept credit and debit cards (must have tap capability!), Venmo, and Paypal on-site, if needed.

Herb Classes and Chats
speaker fee $50/hour
herb garden tours $10/person, $5/person for home school groups
on-farm classes $20/person, includes supplies
We love to share the magic of herbs and natives with you! We host small groups (gardeners’ clubs, families, home school groups, etc.) at our farm for classes about growing and using herbs and native plants to enrich your life.
Classes offered in 2025 include beginners’ courses in medicinal plants and no-dig gardening.
