Medicinal Herb Class for Women - Crafting Self-Care and Beauty Products with Herbs
Join Staci from Rising Herb Farm at beautiful Wasatch Lake in Poland, Indiana on Saturday November 15th for a hands-on herbal experience where, alongside other women, you’ll learn to craft your own natural self-care and beauty products using medicinal plants! This offering is extra special, taking place at Wasatch Lake’s private Lodge.
This two-hour class includes a folklore-rich, fireside lecture around several easy-to-grow herbs whose constituents make them beautiful additions to self-care and beauty products (such as rose, chamomile, yarrow, and calendula). The lecture is followed by crafting three natural self-care and beauty products (floral body wash, facial serum, and Queen of Hungary water) using these organically grown plants, most of which are grown locally and harvested with warm intention at Rising Herb Farm. You will leave this class with your completed natural beauty products, new recipes for several more natural beauty products, new plant lady friends, and an empowerment gained by making your own self-care products!
Date/Time: Saturday November 15, 2025 from 10am-12pm
Location: The Lodge at Wasatch Lake. 7301 Wasatch Lake Road, Poland Indiana.
Cost: $40 per person, which includes the class itself and supplies to create and bottle your self-care and beauty products in class.
Class Size Limit: 15, Women and Girls Only
Registration Deadline: October 31st
Notes: This class is indoors and will be held rain or shine! In the event of snowy and/or icy winter conditions, class will be cancelled and refunded. All class materials will be provided, and locally baked refreshments and herbal tea will be offered. Rising Herb Farm’s apothecary items (including dried herbs, herbal teas, tinctures, and other magical offerings) will also be open to shop before or after class. Details about arriving and parking at Wasatch Lake will be sent to students the week of class. The cost of class is used to purchase supplies for crafting in advance, so we cannot provide a refund for any reason unless the class is cancelled.
