Medicinal Herb Class for Women - Crafting a First Aid Kit with Herbs and Wildcrafted Plants

$40.00

Join Staci from Rising Herb Farm at beautiful Wasatch Lake in Poland, Indiana on Saturday January 17th for a hands-on herbal experience where, alongside other women, you’ll learn to how to craft and administer herbal remedies for first aid! This offering is extra special, taking place at Wasatch Lake’s private Lodge.

This two-hour class includes a fireside chat about the traditional medicinal uses of herbs and native plants in North America and Europe, including their actions in the body and, if wildcrafting, how and where to find them safely. Our chat will include demonstrations on how to craft strong infusions, herbal poultices, and herbal compresses for first aid use. Finally, we will gather to craft our very own herbal first aid kit, which will include an antibacterial salve, a styptic powder, and a gentle digestive tonic. You will leave this class with your completed first aid kit, new first aid recipes to try at home, new herb lady friends, and an empowerment gained by partnering with plants to prepare for life’s little injuries and illnesses.
