Join Staci at Rising Herb Farm on Saturday September 12th for a hands-on herbal experience where, alongside other women, you’ll craft your very own herbal broom!
This two-hour class includes a tour of the early autumn herb garden, including seasonal folklore surrounding herbs, flowers, and trees flourishing this time of year—mugwort, sweet annie, goldenrod, strawflower, apple, persimmon, and more! Students will then gather in circle and craft their own beautiful decorative brooms using only natural, compostable materials, all of which are grown locally (here at Rising Herb Farm or elsewhere). Available crafting materials will be both fresh and dried. You’ll leave this class with your completed broom, new herb lady friends, and an empowerment from knowing how to partner with autumn plant allies to decorate your home naturally just in time for October!

Location: Rising Herb Farm, 5957 N Candlestick Corner Rd, Centerpoint IN
Cost: $25 per person, which includes the class itself, and all supplies to make a broom.
Class Size Limit: 20, Women and Girls Only
Registration Deadline: August 30th
Notes: This class will be held rain or shine! In the event of thunderstorms or other dangerous weather, class will be rescheduled for a future Saturday. All class materials will be provided, and locally-baked refreshments, herbal tea, coffee, and water will be offered. Rising Herb Farm’s apothecary items (including dried herbs, herbal teas, tinctures, and other magical offerings) will also be open to shop before or after class. More details about this class will be sent to students the week of class. The cost of class is used to purchase and harvest supplies in advance, so we cannot provide a refund for any reason unless the class is cancelled and not rescheduled. Thank you for understanding!
