Magic Itch Relief Mud

Toss the calamine lotion in your medicine cabinet—all you need is Magic Mud this summer! Made entirely of natural ingredients, this thick concoction made with cooling clay is infused with soothing, astringent herbs who would just really love to help relieve your itching and discomfort from insect bites, poison ivy, and other summer skin woes. Lavender and witch hazel make this mud smell delightful.
To use: Keep your Magic Itch Relief mud in the refrigerator— it is perishable, and the cooling action will work much better when cold! :) With clean hands, apply mud liberally to mosquito and chigger bites, poison ivy rashes, or other skin issues that could use drying and anti-inflammatory action. Let mud dry. Leave on as long as you’d like, or until bathing.
All herbs in this mud were grown with love and intention using organic and sustainable gardening practices at Rising Herb Farm, a Certified Naturally Grown herb farm near Poland, Indiana. All mud is made lovingly by hand in micro-batches by the herb farmer herself.
THIS OFFERING IS PERISHABLE AND MUST BE REFRIGERATED. Please select local pickup at Rising Herb Farm or the Plainfield Chamber Farmers’ Market rather than standard shipping during checkout. Melted bars will still be usable, just less pretty. :)
Ingredients: Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis)-, plantain (Plantago major)-, and calendula (Calendula officinalis)-infused witch hazel alcohol extract, organic bentonite & French pink clay, baking soda, aloe vera gel, sea salt, organic lavender essential oil.
Approximately quarter pint, comes in a cute glass mason jar with a metal lid.
Use within 3 months. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Occasional herb residue is normal. In case of allergy, test small area before use. Please use caution applying near or around your eyes.
