Rising Herb Farm Gardening Class - Introduction to Organic No Dig Gardening

$20.00

Join me at Rising Herb Farm on Saturday April 18th from 10am-12pm for a hands-on gardening experience where you’ll learn how to start a No Dig garden and manage it organically! Made popular by UK market gardener Charles Dowding, No Dig gardening reduces the physical labor of growing a garden and increases yields, all while enhancing the health of your soil.

This two-hour class includes an introduction to No Dig gardening, including an overview of the tools you’ll need to start your very own No Dig garden bed (hint: it’s only two things!), strategies for planting seedlings and maintaining new beds, and methods for handling common garden pests organically. Students will get hands-on experience by creating a brand new No Dig bed at Rising Herb Farm, complete with plants!

Each registered student will receive one free herb or native seedling of their choice to take home with them!

Date/Time: Saturday April 18th from 10am-12pm
Location: Rising Herb Farm (5957 N Candlestick Corner Rd, Centerpoint IN 47840)
