Rising Herb Farm Gardening Class - Herb and Native Plant Propagation from Seed

$20.00

Join me at Rising Herb Farm on Saturday March 14th from 10am-12pm for a hands-on gardening experience where you’ll learn how to propagate herb and native plants from seed! Although there are many ways to propagate plants (such as from root divisions or by layering), the genetic diversity gained by growing plants from seed is more important now than ever!

This two-hour class includes an introduction to propagation methods and tools for the most success in growing your own organic plants from seed, including strategies for germinating tricky herb and native seeds, ways to grow large numbers of plants in a small space, and tips on how to manage the transition from greenhouse to garden. Students will get hands-on practice multi-sowing seeds into a prepared module tray and transplanting module tray plants into the garden.

Each registered student will receive one free herb or native seedling of their choice to take home with them!
